Rave ‘n’ Crave Wednesday:  PopPhysique Butt Workout

Yes, I know, I am raving about something workout related . . . again. The thing is that when you are doing something like fine tuning your girlish figure, it tends to consume your life. When I discover non mainstream exercise videos that are fun and WORK, all I want to do is rave about it! So, bear with me. I can’t make any promises, but this should be the last workout post for a little while . . . maybe.

A couple of weeks ago, when I received my PopSugar “Must Have” Bag for August, to my slightly masochistic delight and apprehension, I found PopPhysique’s Butt Workout DVD. I had never heard of PopPhysique. The idea of working on my butt for 55 minutes in one session wasn’t exactly something that got me excited. The idea that my butt could look even better than it already does (I am a fan of my ass what can I say?), did get me excited.

When I was faced with the dilemma of which workout DVD to use, it dawned on me (pun intended) that I could try the 55 minute butt workout. After watching the first 15 minutes or so, I quickly discovered that it was just 55 minutes of working on just your butt. It was a full body workout. There were plank exercises, tricep and bicep toning with free weights, barre work with a chair, and a grueling 20 minutes of ab work. It was impressive! I didn’t find Sam annoying. I enjoyed it so much I made it through 30 minutes of it before I checked to see how much was left in the workout. I only even checked because I was curious not because I was bored. I was shocked. I liked it so much I did the PopPhysique Butt workout 2 days in a row. The next week I chose to do it 2 days out of 4 days of my allotted workout DVD days.

After four workouts, there is new definition in my arms! I can see my bicep muscle BEFORE I flex! I have never seen that before! I keep catching myself staring at my arms . . . and flexing. I’ve always had great upper body strength, but I could never see the muscles before! It is really cool! I am so proud of what I have been able to accomplish. My muscular thighs have gained tone and definition. There is a visible difference with my inner thighs.

The workout is at times painful; however, if I can see a difference in my body in just four workouts, it is a workout worth doing. Thanks to PopSugar’s “Must Have” Bag and PopPhysique, I am very pleased with the discovery of PopPhysique’s Butt workout DVD!

Now, if only the DVD cover wasn’t so weird . . .
